FSU Panama City Academic Advising & Student Success

You should meet with your academic advisor each semester before registration opens to review your academic progress, plan for future terms, and discuss educational opportunities and post-graduation goals.

All FYS (First Year Students) will meet with our student success coach their first year, and possibly beyond to ensure academic achievement and provide overall student support.

Here are some things you can discuss with your advisor and/or coach:

Academic Advisor

Email advising@pc.fsu.edu

  • General education requirements
  • Major and graduation requirements
  • Course planning and selection
  • Academic support (experiencing academic challenges)
  • Educational opportunities (education abroad, research, internships)
  • Post graduation plans

Success Coach

Email studentsuccess@pc.fsu.edu

  • Support, concerns & success strategies
  • Navigating the college experience
  • Time management
  • Goal Setting
  • Success Workshops
  • FSU engagements, opportunities & resources

Although no single advisor has expertise in all areas, every advisor can help direct you to resources on campus. Remember success coaches are not academic advisors. If you have any questions regarding courses, or degree completion requirements please contact your academic advisor directly.
